TNC #3 - Recap
TNC Volunteers:
I handled turn 2 again this week but wouldn’t mind if someone else wants to help out with that position in future weeks.
Registration: Todd Munk
Finish Line: Jonathan Racine and Todd Munk
C Group Mentor: Benson Ng
WIND, WIND, and more WIND was on tap for Week 3 of the 2013 season of Tuesday Night Crits. The weather was in the 70’s but there was a very stiff wind blowing out of the north east, which means wind into the rider’s right front shoulders on the long Hellyer stretch and a head wind after turn 3. 19 A’s, 24 B’s, and 11 C’s showed up with stories about their Tour of California adventures, and they were ready to get in a great workout and practice their racing skills leading into the big Memorial Day racing weekend. The riders completed 14 laps of the 2 mile loop starting and finishing at the 4th light post above the FCC parking lot on Piercy. SUMMIT BICYCLES was the featured SJBC sponsor of the night.
Thanks to Todd Munk for helping me with registration and for Erik Camacho, Elena Joroski, and Jonathan Racine for recruiting volunteers for the Memorial Day weekend races.
Crossing first for their groups were:
A: Kenny Strickland
B: Scott Riddle
C: Dave Brown
